Episode 128

Cyber security risks that every GP owner should know

In this episode of The Good GP, host Dr Sean Stevens interviews Jerome Chiew, Vice Chair of the Australian Computer Society in Western Australia and a certified professional in cybersecurity.

Jerome shares insights on the three most common cybersecurity incidents that GPs may experience, including phishing emails, malvertising through search engines, and password compromises through the use of cloud services.

He provides practical advice on how to mitigate these risks, such as enabling two-factor authentication, subscribing to email filtering services, and installing up-to-date antivirus software.
